    Yes, to some degree. It's less of a concern on a processor like an i3-i7 or something else really nice. Most skins are much less a performance hit than the one I posted in my last post.

    A very old Pentium 4 can run basic Rainmeter skins ok and not have overly-carried-away cpu use.

    Unless you have a very fast rig, the skin from my last post should probably be shut down when gaming.
