Windows 8.1 OEM CD Key not valid

Hello I recently bought a computer from a local computer store. It came with Windows 8.1 pre-installed and had a burn-in run on it. I don't like how they setup my accounts, plus neither me nor the administrator account can mount iso images, it says we don't have the permissions. I tried the WindowsSetupBox.exe and Windows8-setup.exe from the windows website but I get a error saying it is not valid for retail version of windows 8.1. My CD key is for "Windows 8.1 Pro For OEN Software". I then tried downloading MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.8.1.SINGLE.LANGUAGE.RTM.X64.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT and it said my key doesn't match any available images. I am new to windows 8.

Have you made the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

I would recommend you making the OEM manufacturer's Recovery DVD's or USB drive.
or
You can order the Microsoft official OEM Recovery disks from the OEM manufacturer's website.

The last version of windows I owned was Windows XP it came with my HP. It also came with recovery media. I checked the manufacturers website and there is no recovery media just new copies of windows. This isn't some proprietary computer from a company like HP or Dell. Its a custom built machine I bought from a local OEM distributor. I quit using windows 7 years ago and went to linux, when I purchased this computer I decided to try windows again, I figured I would go with 8.1 because it has downgrade rights to windows 7. When I purchased the computer I figured I was getting a legit version of windows with a disc just like if I walked into the same store and bought just a copy of windows in the box for the same price.I should have just bought the PC then walked in a bought windows myself at another date, they insisted on installing it and doing there 24h burn in test.

Now I remember why I moved to linux Microsoft has to make everything so difficult.

I would contact the local computer store where you purchased it.

I contacted them, they put the windows dvd in the bottom of the tower to ensure it doesn't get lost. I just looked in my mother board box with all of my driver discs and didn't see it there. Thanks, I am happy because I was starting to like windows.
