Hi. I don't know what to do, already asked for help on bunch of forums, but nobody was able to help. I cleaned my hard drive in command prompt and now I'm stuck in bios. Can't do anything, not even boot my windows DVD, so I can install a new one.

Yeah sorry about that. I've been doing this for two days, my brain isn't working right. Anyways. Yeah, bust still nothing. I keep getting this message

Reboot and Select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key_

Did you enable boot menu in boot options in the bios ?
If so, you can press the assigned F-key at splash screen to get boot options.

Insert the dvd & restart & press the F-key at splash screen & you should see the dvd as an option.
Choose it & continue.

It works for me.

Thanks, but that's not really an option right now. Since my laptop doesn't work, guess I'm gonna have to buy a new one. But would that 100% solve my problem? And is there anyway I can repair my windows through command prompt or something, using this one? Thanks for your time, regardless

Why not just pull the CMOS battery out for 3 - 5 minutes then re-install battery. This will reset BIOS to a functioning state.

1) I take it that you upgraded from Windows 7.

2) If the disk is bootable it will boot.
