    Preview area in folder view similar to Windows 7


    How can i make windows 8 show this when clicking an item, i could not find a simple option unless i am loosing my vision

    Hello haxorz, and welcome to Eight Forums.

    That would be the details pane. In Windows 8 File Explorer, the details pane has been moved to the right pane now.

    I agree. It's not as bad if the File Explorer window is made larger if you have the screen space for it though.

    If you like, you could use this below to move the details pane back to the bottom in Windows 8, but I would recommend to create a restore point before doing so just to be extra safe.
