There seems to be something different with how W8 handles hotkeys. I've written hotkey utilities that work the same across XP,Vista,W7. But I notice some hotkeys that work no matter which window has focus in the previous OSes require that I click the desktop first.
I've noticed this with some programs by other authors too. For example Find And Run Robot, which I know is written in C++ Builder. While my hotkey utilities are done in either AutoIt3, Autohotkey, or a combination of the two. So that makes me think it has to do with W8 rather than the programming tools.
Just curious if anyone has noticed. I'm talking strictly desktop programs of course.
