W8.1 Pro 32 Bit System-on startup File Manager open Folder

Can someone please help explain why my desktop pc has suddenly decided to opens a folder with following path;
C:\Users\Patrick\AppData\Roaming\ Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

PC has just started doing this today, I have not added any new programs etc for several days.

How can I stop W8 from doing this as it takes say 5-10 seconds to open this folder up.

Your help would be appreciated

Try disabling some programs that you definitely don't need to startup, to see if the problem goes away.

Any other things I can do to stop File Explorer from opening up this folder?
