I found a hit on that error msg where malware cleanup fixed it. So worth a try.
i am using k-lite codec pack on my MPC will that effect anything and i will do a full scan with my antivirus later and report back tomorrow or as soon as possible

See if you can play a file with no spaces in the path. For example change movie file.mp4 to MovieFile.mp4. If mpc has %1 for command line param not wrapped in quotes like this "%1" then the file path will be chopped at the first space. It's like the largest cause of file not found errors.

Do as MilesAhead has posted by changing the name with no spaces.

Additionally, try creating a bat file with the path to the file you wish to play..

Save the file to the location of your choice and name it "WakyWaky.bat"

Next, point the Action to the bat file..
I just tried this and it worked. However, I could only get the file to play using a local account not a Microsoft account.
