First off, I'm new here so I'm sorry if I am posting this in the wrong section. I appreciate the help.

Disk Management 12_14_13.jpg

So that is a screen shot of my disk management screen. As you can see, disk0 and disk1 both have system reserved partitions on them.

Disk0 is a SSD that I only want Windows, Office, and possibly my video and photo editing software on it.
Disk1 is a 2TB SATA HD that is split into 2 partitions used for programs on 1 and media on the other
Disk2 is a 2TB SATA HD that is used just for Media storage, and I'm thinking about adding a partition for backups

I have no idea what the 25MB partition is on Disk2. I also don't know why I cannot access the system reserved partition on Disk0, and why there is another system reserved partition on Disk1 that I can explore, and contains the boot folders.

How did this happen in the first place? Is there anyway for me to fix this issue without wiping everything? I have done some searching and found quick fixes but haven't found an explanation as to how this happened in the first place.

I also would like to create repair DVDs and a full system image of my C drive, but have not done either of these before.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I have no idea what the 25MB partition is on Disk2. I also don't know why I cannot access the system reserved partition on Disk0, and why there is another system reserved partition on Disk1 that I can explore, and contains the boot folders.

1) Do not play with System Reserved partition on Disk0, as your OS will not boot.

2) mark D: INACTIVE.
Partition - Mark as Inactive - Windows 7 Help Forums

3) Delete partition D:
Partition or Volume - Delete - Windows 7 Help Forums

4) extend partition F:

I also would like to create repair DVDs and a full system image of my C drive, but have not done either of these before.

I recommend you make a Windows System Image.

or
look for a 3rd party ,Backup software, which fully supports Windows 8/8.1, UEFI, GPT & Secure Boot.
Which is signed by Microsoft.

Thank you for the quick reply.

So the system reserved partition on Disk0 that is only 350MB contains the boot files necessary to boot into my OS and the system reserved partition on Disk1 is redundant?
Can you explain how it got there in the first place? I just want to make sure when I mark partition D inactive and then delete it that I will still be able to boot into Windows.
