button malfunction

.I was typing in my Microsoft word, and all of a sudden it stops typing and loading up files and media what have you. F opens up files, x opens some menu of some.sort. I don't know what this is but it's rather annoying anyone know what my situation is?

Locate cmd & run as administrator by right clicking in it & type sfc/scannow & press enter..this will fix it !

I'm terribly sorry, but if I could ask you to run that by me step by step, because I am not a computer person in the least.

On dsktop right click on start button & click on command prompt (Run as administrator)& in command prompt type sfc/scannow sorry i can't show u screenshots..because i'm on mobile.Hope u sort it out u'rself Good Luck

run...
exit

I hate that I'm not really computer person and don't really understand this stuff but I got the computer as a gift I use it for writing stuff on word typing up a small story that's really the only thing I know how to , of course with your Facebook and YouTube as well

okay so I figured it out but is it supposed to take like 4 hours?

no it'll take 15-25 minutes only & if it not sucessfully complete.reboot u'r computer & run this command again & again 2-3 times

It sounds to me like you have a stuck ctrl or alt key. Try banging on them, see if that fixes it.

a stuck windows key will also do it ,when it started did you try a simple restart of the computer
