When I wake up from sleep, Windows 8 wakes up and opens up everything I had open but it's as though it's mimicking waking up from hibernate. When I wake up the PC I see the BIOS screen, followed by a black screen, then opens up Windows with my applications. It's not instant like my other PC with W7, especially considering I have an SSD.
Furthermore, I went to my BIOS and put the ACPI suspend type to S1 from S3, which fixed this issue however my fans would always be running in sleep then.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
