Windows 8.1 - Problems with music app, explorer and more

Hello, I have a Thinkpad Twist that I am having problems with. I'm not really sure where to start so I will just lay them out. These problems all started when I reset and sold my Surface tablet (that was synced to the Twist)... I'm not sure if that could cause these problems though.

The music app doesn't recognize any of the music in the music folder. It used to work just fine, now it doesn't. Also, when I click on "Choose where we look" in the program, the app crashes and spits me back out to the start screen.

I can't change my user account picture or lock screen picture. Well, I can change them to recently used pictures, but when I click "Browse" in both, nothing happens.

I can access explorer just fine, unless I try to access it when it is pinned to the start menu. When I click on it, I get the message "Windows can not find ". Make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again."

I thought my libraries may be corrupted, so I went into explorer and right clicked to choose "show libraries." Well, nothing happens when I do that.

I ran "sfc /scannow" and swapped user accounts (thinking maybe my profile was corrupted) and nothing changed.

I am unable to restore to an earlier point since I never created restore points (stupid, I know). I also do not have a Windows CD to restore anything. I am getting aggravated, so any advice or help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Chris
