ASUS Notebook not shutting down correctly all of the sudde

So this morning my dad went to power off his ASUS K55N Notebook, and it didn't turn off correctly, the screen went black, but the system stayed powered on (had to perform a hard shutdown). He didn't perform any Windows Update(s) or install new drivers prior to this, he didn't change anything, and just now it did the same thing.

What could be causing this?, the Notebook was performing perfectly fine before today.

Attached is the .zip generated by the SF Diagnostic Tool.

    Thanks.

Visit the ASUS web site and go to support, look for the K55N in their drivers section then look for new drivers by their date. This could help.

But the thing is mate, he didn't change any drivers leading up to when the issue first showed up. I will update all the drivers either way.
