Brand New Asus G750JX-RB71 has been crashing repeatedly

I had this computer for a hour when it started to crash. It has windows 8 and has been getting constant memory_management crashes whenever i try to use it and sometimes just from idling. I have tried doing a reset through the recovery options and have done a full reinstall of windows 8. I really don't want the hassle of having to send it back or have it repaired considering I've had it for all of 2 days. Is there anything I can do to check if there is nothing I can do. Like whether it is the hardware or just the software? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it's 2 days old, I'd send it back, sounds like a hardware issue, possibly bad RAM.

If you can return this computer I would do so and quickly. If you have an ASUS computer and it has problems getting it fixed from ASUS is not a real option. Going to their support download drivers and firmwear web site is a nightmare. But if you can't return it,then it's an option, I have a feeling the system is not liking Win8.but it could be another failure. Let us know how it works out.

Will do. I've never dealt with a problem like this so thanks for the opinions. But what exactly do you mean when you say the system doesn't like Windows 8? Could downgrading to Windows 7 fix the problem possibly? Or would using a bootable flash to upgrade to 8.1 fix it? I'm not really sure about the differences between 8 and 8.1 other than UI.

No as others also post you have a real hardware problem,I just am posting my own thoughts about Win8 seems my ASUS computer I installed Win8 on is not working as well as my Win7 computers. Just my own feelings about Win8. I would return or exchange the computer.

Okay thanks for the advice I've reached out to the seller to set up the return.

I have three ASUS computers all been in service around three years a G73SW and G73JH also a K52N they all have never had a major failure I have had to remove battery and AC on the G73SW a few times but it was I feel software conflicts with the Win7 OS. I installed Win8 then upgraded to Win8.1 on the G73JH have no real OS problems but I had to hunt for a few drivers for items installed. Also even with my Canon G16 Wi-Fi camera found as a device in win8.1 camera still can't connect to the win8.1 computer. All Canon drivers are installed,so it has to be something with Win8.1
So don't give up on the ASUS computers, like all electronic devices some get bad parts.

IS it 8 or 8.1 which is problematic? Asus usually makes good product, but when was the board designed, is may have drivers needed that 8 can't hack.

Is it a whole system or just a board - If the board, swap it out. If the system, same thing.

Recently lost my Windows 8 on my main PC, had to go back to Windows 7.

My early problems with the Win8 installed, were programs that could not be installed like my Roxio Creator used for video editing. But after the Win8.1 update I could install it. but still can't connect my Canon G16 Wi-Fi camera even with it found as a device in Win8.1. Seems it still needs a driver from Win8.1 as all Canon driver are installed. I might add the Win7 computers all can connect to the Canon camera.

Ya it was just bad out of the box. Worked for about an hour before it started crashing every 5 minutes. I did call Asus first and they just told me to do a reset. That completely screwed it up and left it stuck on the repair loop with no way out because it couldn't detect the OS. I got it to start up again by reinstalling Windows 8 using a flash drive with the install disk that I have for another computer. It worked but the crashes continued. MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. And I won't give up yet. I'm gonna have them send me a replacement when I send it back. I've heard good things about Asus from several people. I guess I just had really bad luck to get the product that has defects. I doubt it will happen twice though. Let's hope not.

The error log says "Memory Management"?

-Bad RAM then. Check your RAM with Memtest and all other Memory checkers you can find.
