Solved Can the Start Button colour be changed? Windows 8.1

Hi guys, is it possible to change the colour of the white start button in Window 8.1?

My screen is suffering from screen burn because of the bright start button and I'm thinking it would be less severe if the button was a darker colour.

I've looked through all personalisations and everything but I can't find a way.

The button does change to black though when "High Contrast White" is selected in the personalisations, but I can't find a way other than that to do it

I don't think it's possible to change the color other than what you found. There may be some 3rd party app to do so. I know of none.

With Classic Shell you can have any kind of start button you want.
