Solved Strange Behaviour in Windows 8.1

When I open certain system dialogue windows, the list of items jump. The worst one is Device Manager.
It's so jumpy I can hardly use it. It also happens when I open Charms, Change PC Settings, PC and Devices, Devices. The list jumps up and down.

I have updated drivers to just everything.

I tried to contact Microsoft for help. I am asked for my Product ID. I added it to the window but MS say they don't recognise it. It's the only product ID I have.

I first had Windows 8 Pro with Media Centre. Then upgarded to Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Centre and was given a new Product ID.

On the System dialogue window it shows I have Windows 8.1 Pro with media centre and the Product ID. I am just stumped as to why Microsoft is not recognising it.

Can anyone please help me with these problems I am experiencing?

Thank you David. I ran the ShowKey.vbs however, I received an Error stating Unable to open registry key.
Do you know why it won't open?

After you downloaded it did you right click it & choose Properties & Unblock it ?

Thanks to your both. I managed to get jellybean easily and it showed my Product ID.

I didn't realise I had to right click/Properties/unblock. Once I did that, it worked perfectly and showed the Product ID.

Now, here's another problem. I enter the P roduct ID in MS help and support and I get this:

We could not find your product ID number automatically. Please enter a product ID number below.

I did enter the correct number - copy/paste. When that didn't work, I typed the numbers in. I get the same information. If MS can't find my registered Product ID, what is this telling me?

Do you kind people have any further suggestions please?

Thanks, but that's what I'm trying to do is contact MS. For technical help it requires my Product ID. I may try to do it without and see what the problem is.

Thank you for your help.
