Cannot remove language or keyboard input method (W8.1)

    Hi there
if you add an input method by mistake you CANNOT it seems remove it again.

The remove button is greyed out. This applies to Windows 8.1 not W8.

Anybody know how to get rid of this.

    Cheers

It probably will be grayed out until you add another input method.

    Hi there

Thanks - but already tried that - you can't get rid of the whole thing

At least a SYSTEM restore only takes me around 7 - 10 mins from an external SSD connected to a USB3 port - but it seems ridiculous having to do a restore because of this stupid error.

    Cheers

    Hello Jimbo,

Was that language set as your primary display language?

You will not be able to remove an input method if it's the only one the language has.
