    Feyisayo,

Does that pane border adjust to expose anything when it's made wider?

If not, then I suppose that you could do a system restore using a restore point dated before it appeared to undo it.

Thanks Brink, Actually, the silly line doesn't do anything at all, The move cursor appears only when I hover around the line, it doesn't move at all. I have a feeling it has got something to do with my registry configurations. Do you think there's a registry entry that alters the height of the Navigation Bar? I'll try a system restore too. Thanks!

I just installed 8.1 on my test machine, and I see what you are talking about now, it's because they took out the File Menu Items. I get the exact same line now.

I don't know exactly what it is, something is different from 8 to 8.1

Ok here is what I noticed, there are now 2 views for Explorer, I never noticed this

Then you can expand it out, the line is less pronounced like that.

And if you have Classic shell, under "View" you will see an additional setting, "Classic Explorer" which puts some controls on the Right Side and widens the bar a little.

Woah! I don't think I can handle all that adaptation in upgrading windows, hence explorer. I'll stick to 8 for now. xD. Concerning the line, I thought as much too that it had something to do with the File Menu.

The line only has the "move" cursor when I hover around it, it never moves past that area directly below the Address navigation bar.

Since I still use Windows 8, I can't hide the Menu bar, I won't mind altering my registry to get it done though, I never liked the menu bar.

Actually, the "Hide Menu Bar" is in both 8 and 8.1 - But neither in 8 nor 8.1 did I get the type of "arrow" you are getting, you are probably using a custom cursor set. You may have another Mod going on that is causing this, maybe one of the ones you used to get that cool OSX happening. I wouldn't worry about it though, as long as it works pretty much like usual. I'd rather have Explorer act more like Finder.

Haha, I hardly notice the line now, Brink said updating my video driver could help, which I am yet to try. I have a feeling it will disappear after some time. ^^ .Anyway, thanks for the support mahn, I really appreciate!
