How do I remove this bar in the files manager?

    1. You could try this command from command prompt(Admin)
      dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    2. If 1 does not work, Do you have any restore point created prior to changing the theme ?

    OK, I think I know where it comes from: I also have Classic Shell installed although I only use the Classic Explorer.

    You recognise this? Look down on the lower left:

    Its the same as yours.

    You can shut it off here:

    Click image for larger version

    And then you can choose the Status from either Explorer, or Classic shell, or neither if that is what you want.

    Just for curiosity, what does this command do? I tried it and it says that "the component store corruption was repaired".

    Yes! That was it! Damn, I thought that it might have been Classic shell for a second, but I didn't bother going any further.
