Microsoft has identified it as a Trojan infection. Please see here for recommendations from Microsoft:

Trojan:Win32/Lamechi.E

Good luck and hope this helps.

PS You might have to use IE to access that information because Firefox just hangs for some reason. Seems like another "gotcha" from MS to restrict access to their information. Now, maybe FF would eventually get through but I didn't have time to wait.

I'm not sure about the quality of the program, but your file belongs to it. Try uninstalling 360, and it should go away.(you can always re-install afterward)

I use Eset Smart Security.

Firefox went right straight to it for me, my2cents. However, there are times that FF just sits there rotating its circle, so I understand what you're saying.

As to the Trojan described above, I didn't see anything connecting it to the OP's problem. Did I miss something?

Thanks

Do you have Norton 360 or 360 Antivirus? There seems to be a difference between the two. If this is so, then it seems to me that the similarity in AV names is intentional to fool the "prospective buyer" into thinking they're buying Norton 360 instead of malware.

[h=1]360 Official Forum[/h]Title: Domestic first router security report released: 30% home WiFi loopholes [Print]

Author: 360 Media Stand Time: 2013-10-31 14:57 Subject: domestic first router security report released: 30% home WiFi loopholes posts by Panda leaders at 2013-11-1 19:02 Edit people know WiFi need to set the password, but often overlooked modify the router's administration password, the consequences that will cause the router DNS settings can be easily tampered with by hackers, so the trick users frequently encounter advertising popups or phishing sites intrusion. 360 security guards, according to the latest release ofrouter security report shows that 30.2 percent of the domestic home wireless routers exist "weak passwords" loophole, more 4.7% of home routers have been black, caught netizens conservative estimates up to 2000 million people, while the household router has been with computers, cell phones tied to hacker attacks focus on three objectives. 30% of the router by "weak password" vulnerability affects home wireless router is becoming a household standard, but its safety is unusually fragile. 360 Security Center on the market through the existing 344 models of routers were detected and analyzed (different firmware versions of the same kinds of routers are also considered different models), a total of 104 models of routers being "weak password" vulnerability, as high as 30.2% . 360 security experts Dr. Shi Xiaohong said: "There are two important wireless router's password, a password is WiFi, mainly in order to prevent others rub network; another router administration password, account mainly for the Internet router, WiFi passwords, DNS, networked device management settings. " Survey shows that domestic Internet users in general do not understand do not even know there is a router management password, so long-term use Admin, root, etc. The factory default router weak passwords. In the presence of the router "weak password" vulnerable network, the computer simply by visiting a web page with malicious code attacks, routers, DNS will automatically be tampered with for the hacker specified DNS, and DNS equivalent of user access to the Web at "navigator." DNS once controlled by hackers, there will be slow internet, well-known pop porn site advertising, etc., and even access online banking official address may actually open but it is phishing.

forum.php
Figure: hackers tampering with the purpose of analyzing the router DNS

360 security guards "WiFi physical" sample survey found that 4.7 percent of the country once the router DNS tampering by hackers. DNS hackers tampering with the main purpose of pornographic websites and game advertising push, the ratio reached 49.5%; 28.0% of DNS tampering with the electricity provider's website in order to promote the hijacked page, thus earning promotion commission; addition to 22.5% of each other category hijacking, for example, an access request hijacking legitimate Web sites to phishing sites or sites linked to horse, to replace the well-known rogue promotion site navigation URL station. Router management accounts should be set strong passwords Dr. Shi Xiaohong said log cumbersome, complex settings, lack of risk awareness is the cause of most of the users do not attach importance to the router management password of the key. He appealed to the router vendors should the router management background, increasing the risk of modifying the password reminder or force option. For router users, Dr. Shi Xiaohong recommend first time to modify the router's default password, and try to use relatively complex strong password. Even if they can not remember this password does not affect the daily Internet and need to log into the router management background, they can pass on the router "reset button" Very easily restored to factory settings. In addition, users can open the router MAC address filtering, SSID broadcast off the router, and the router's default IP address management (192.168.1.1,192.168.0.1 etc.) modified for other LAN IP address field. For routers, there are all kinds of loopholes risks, 360 security guards in the "Wifi examination" can scan testing, to detect and fix security risks, effectively prevent hacker attacks and strangers rub network.

I do not recommend using this 360 software

yes i have 360 installed
not sure if its a good program or not? what is you opinion of it?

Do you have Norton 360 or 360 Antivirus? There seems to be a difference between the two. If this is so, then it seems to me that the similarity in AV names is intentional to fool the "prospective buyer" into thinking they're buying Norton 360 instead of malware.

Answwers.com gives this: Antivirus 360 - Answers.com

eHow.com gives this: How to Activate Antivirus 360 | eHow

That sounds NASTY, any luck getting it out? I would not trust my life, livelihood or my PCs to ANY Norton nonproduct.

Yeah, I quit Norton and McAfee many years ago when I was handed both of them to review for HAL-PC. At the time I had a perfectly clean PC and was surprised at all the "Looky What I Founds" by both of them.

Remember last year, when Malwarebytes found just about every Windows System file was infected and deleted em? That was a MESS. I had to do System Restores on about 25 computers all over town the next week. That was the only other time I saw false positives that were not from Norton/Mcafee.
