    Win 8 Adverts

Ive noticed when I visit some sites in particular

Bikes, Bike Reviews, Cycling Routes, Race News - BikeRadar

the screen I expect to see - shrinks and I get loads of ads popping down either side. This doesn't happen on my kids laptops (win 7) - I have norton antivurus - and removed all spyware with malware bytes - but the ads persist

its not a major problem but Has my PC been compromised ? anything I can do ?

Maybe you are now dealing with some damage that was left behind. In any event, first thing I would do is check to make sure pop ups are disabled in the browser you are using. Here's an example of where to look in IE:

    Hope this helps. Good luck,

The ads you see on that site are normal, please note ad blocking discussion is against forum rules.
