Can't access my new computer on Windows 8

For some reason I forgot my Microsoft password on my new box. It won't let me access it. I've tried every password I have ever used and the only thing it says is to go to to reset my password. I'm afraid to try it on this computer for fear it will lock me out of this one too. It is MY computer. I'd really rather NOT have any security on it at all since no one else would use it without my permission, anyway. Justa gigantic PITA. If anyone else has had this happen to them I would appreciate any suggestions.

    Thank you,

If you like, you could set up a new local account on your working computer with a second user name, and make that local account Administrator.
User Account - Add a New User in Windows 8

Then you would have another way into that computer, which wouldn't be linked to your Microsoft Account, so at least your files on that computer would be accessible even if the Microsoft Account got locked.
