I have my options to turn off monitor after 10 minutes and put pc to sleep after 45 minutes. None of these work, I have run the command to see why and it says nothing that is preventing my pc from going to sleep, what am I doing wrong?

@Simba
Have you enabled the customized Powerplan/User Profile? Have you tried to click "Advanced Settings" and check your Battery/Motherboard/Hard Disk settings?

I had the same issue, a couple of weeks ago. ^ ^
It turned out my settings(Powerplan) were not adjusted properly. I checked every single entry in "Advanced Settings"- worked for me!

EDIT: One more thing, check your anti-virus software. I use Bitdefender- this software loves auto-tweaking your system settings.(Power profiles, User profiles)

I've checked all that, eliminated all what has been mentioned. No offense but I am a PC tech head myself. Only ask for help when I am totally stumped :)

Edit: battery settings mean nothing for me as this is a self built tower pc :)

Open your Network and Sharing Center, go to "Change Adapter Settings" and right click on your Adapter, look for IPv6 and de-select it, then it ought to sleep properly
