Any way to add a User command to the W8.1 start button

    Hi gurus

Is there any way to add a command to the Windows 8.1 start button (right mouse click throws up a menu).

That could be quite useful for launching something like a user tool bar from the start button.

    Cheers

    Hi there
Repped you for that piece of info

Now I can have my own quick launch from the start button WITHOUT having to install any 3rd party apps - start8 or whatever -- much better solution.

(Ok you start with right mouse click on start button - but that's not an issue !!! -- works great on W8.1 Enterprise too).

    Cheers

You do know that you can add the Quick Launch back on the Taskbar in either Win 7 or Win 8 (8.1 too), right?
