Screen Flash After Login in 8.1

When my computer boots up, it goes to the login screen, but after entering the details, the screen flashes for a second before loading the desktop. Does anybody know why this happens?

I have Intel4000 graphics and I'm thinking it has to do with the graphic drivers...

+1, happens to me as well, annoying as hell.

I see a brief flash of a "default" Welcome screen background as well, then when I log in, I get a black flicker before it shows the start screen or desktop (doesn't matter which FYI)

To respond to your hypothesis @BuggyWindows81, I don't know if it has anything to do with the Intel4000 graphics, since I'm running a Sandy Bridge processor (Intel3000) with a discrete GPU and I get the flash when I load Windows normally (GPU) as well as when I load it up in SafeMode (Intel 3000).

you may try delete the Logpixs if you have this value .(it may be working）

this issue happen when you change display setting.
