Windows 8 rebooting with all presets clear

Hi,

Only started on here, im semi computer illiterate (sorry)... basically I have got an issue with mysearchdial.. I tried to remove it from uninstall progs and then deleting it from programms folder but nothing worked then the computer started to shut down, when I restart the computer all my settings (internet/task bar programmes/ touch pad settings) and more (prob).

I have no idea what has caused this... can anyone help? in basic terms if possible please.

Have you downloaded some software lately? This bit of malware will most probaly have come as part of the deal. I find that a lot of sofware from CNET comes bundled with malware. Have a look in the System Security forum for ideas on how to get rid of it but generally speaking free software such as Spybot, Malwarebytes and Ad-Aware will most probaly get rid of it for you.
