    Start 8.1 w/o Password?

Just installed 8.1. It had me create some kind of acct with Windows, now I have to use my password when Windows starts. It's aggravating that it changed the way I have used my computer for months now. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that I can just sign into Windows w/o having to use my online acct or whatever the heck that is that I had to create, so I can go back to the way I had it and don't have to sign in everytime I start Windows.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
This tutorial will help you:Log On Automatically at Startup - Windows 7 Help Forums

EDIT: If you don't want to use Microsoft account to log in you could go to "Change PC settings" in charms bar, go to Accounts and just below the email address click "Disconnect" then you could log out and log in with your local account.

I hardly even need a password for my puter. My online passwords are high security, long and complex. I really do not want to type those in every time I start. I do have a much simpler one that I've been using for the laptop. I've even selected to start without a password, but it still asks for...
