    Keep getting pesty swipe notes - how to get rid of them


    I keep getting these swipe notes (see picture). I have not yet figured out how to get rid of them. Any ideas?

    Does anybody have an idea? This is really bothering me. Even when you switch to another screen, this message stays.

    I had the same problem .. all you need is cursor over the left most edge, and it should go away (at least it did for me...)

    Drove me nuts too. In Control Panel Mouse => Device Settings tab => Settings button there's a checkbox Enable Swipe. I unchecked it. I still have some hair left.

    I only saw this after first installing 8.1 and it didn't last long before they disappeared.
