    Windows 8.1 tiles have arrows


    Hello eight forum, i have some trouble with windows 8.1 default tiles which have arrows on the bottom left of each tile. Can you please help me fix this issue.

    I heard that is apps that need to be installed. Click on one and see if it installs.

    All apps are working fine and updated, the problem is the tiles with arrows on them.

    Problem solved, just reinstall all modern apps. Arrow is gone.

    I have this problem as well, but only on some app tiles. They are all installed and updated. I'm going to reinstall the ones that have the problem, as suggested above... would be nice to know why this happened, but going to chalk it up to early release glitch.

IDK what the issue with these damn arrows are but sometimes they're there and other times they're not and only appear when you hover over them. Any fix?
I'm torn between letting Windows 8.1 automatically sync to my Outlook.com account and use the interfaces provided in Windows 8? Or just add URLs (as apps for the start menu) for Outlook.com mail, calendar and people. The latter is a much better interface (IMO) and the only thing I seem to lose is...
