Solved Locked out of Windows 8

Hello all, I recently sold a PC and the guy returned it and I don't know his email password to login and haven't been able to get a hold of him.

The PC didn't come with a Win 8 disk and I wouldn't really want to go that rout either. I wouldn't mind doing a straight up factory image restore, but would have to log into the PC to be able to that, I think.

Any advice or help will be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Windows Offline Password Recovery, it's worked since NT:

Offline Windows Password & Registry Editor

I used it to remove a Locked Out password and set a new one, you have to put it onto a Bootable CD or Flash Drive.

Oh Yah, it will probably only work for a LOCAL account, not a MS account.

And I don't know how 8.1 affects this script.
