  1. Right click on the File Explorer Icon on task bar
  2. right click on File Explorer then select Properties.
  3. Copy and paste the target
    C:\Windows\explorer.exe shell:::{20d04fe0-3aea-1069-a2d8-08002b30309d}

It should also work without the "shell" part. Double colon clsid as folder target will work

edit: this opens to "computer" on my Laptop

Hello Tom,

You could create a new shortcut with that target above, "Pin to Taskbar" it, unpin the old one from the taskbar, and drag and drop the new pinned one where you like on the taskbar. :)

This happens when you set to show "Libraries" in the navigation pane. Setting it back to not show will have the default File Explorer pinned to taskbar to open to "This PC" again. If you wanted Libraries to show, then you could always do the above to use instead. :)
