Solved Property Icons showing as squares

Hello everyone,

I've been searching for a while now but haven't been able to solve this problem: some icons or I don't know how to call them, display as squares; just like when a character can't be read, a square is displayed instead. I'm thinking it's something with my languages properties? or something related. Attached is a picture of what I'm talking about:


I've had this problem for a while now and it always bugged me; I also restored once to no avail.
Please help!
