Windows 8 Pop up keyboard in Desktop mode

I am a new bee using win8 on a Samsung Tablet PC..
I use Kingsoft office and Jarte writer in desktop mode.
In Desktop mode every time I .write I have to need to press keyboard symbol.
    Now my q. is:
Is there a keyboard which pops out like it comes on in Metro mode?
Also is there a soft keyboard complete with Function keys etc, which also can be sized according to size of the Tablet?
I do not mind paying if needed.
Many many thanks for your time and trouble.

Right click on the Taskbar when on the desktop and from the menu select - Toolbars/Touch Keyboard. Will put a shortcut on the Taskbar - Click image for larger version

    Automatic pop up keyboard

Many thanks for the kind reply.
Perhaps I did not make my question properly.
Windows8 in desktop mode the keyboard does not pop up automatically as it happens in Metro mode..
Is there any way the keyboard can be made to pop up automatically?
    Thanks again.

Do any of you have some suggestions on how to make Windows 8 desktop more usable? I was thinking of adding a mac os x style dock, since that seems a lot easier to use on a tablet. The icons are all pretty big and easily clickable. Was thinking of modding the skin of windows 8 to make it look...

Very recently I attempted to open the 'Documents' tab, in the Windows 8 desktop application. In an attempt to access a specific file of which I required. OK, I was fooling around with IE 10 and at some point it got into a state where it only starts in desktop mode. I followed some directions for how to select the mode, but my mode choice is greyed out for some reason. Any idea why?
