    Windows 8

I have a Toshiba Satellite C855 64 bit running windows 8 and cannot find the product key on the computer or with the packaging.

My wife's computer is actually 64 bit, I did not realize, and runs windows 7.

I still cannot create a bootable disk without the product key.

I have included pictures of the only two screens I can get to on my laptop.

Am I going to have to purchase a whole new version of windows and start all over again?

I found this below that may allow you to recover Windows 8 at boot.

From: Toshiba Satellite C855D-S5320 recovery help! - TOSHIBA FORUMS

To restore your laptop back to it's "ORIGINAL FACTORY SPECS" you must 1st access "Boot Options" on your Toshiba Satellite C855D-S5320, or similar model & here's what worked for me. Start the laptop while tapping the "F12" key. This will open your boot options menu. At the very bottom of the list is an option called "HDD Recover" on it if you want to be able to access your "Advance System Recovery Options" where you'll be given new options allowing you to restore your laptop back to it's original factory specs.

No. Very few program benefit from being 64 bit, and the vast majority of them will work fine in either environment. What's more, there are still plenty of 32 bit computers, even brand new ones.
