Please help, its been hours, and I am about to lose it.

On all my other user names on this pc, i open a email, right click on image to save and it opens my NORMAL folders to save. One this ONE user name for some reason it opens a BLACK screen almost blank that has a colum of photos along the left hand side of the screen. it says files, pictures, go up, sort by screen.

PLEASE HELP ME MAKE THIS GO AWAY.

It's crazy, I can't see anything like normal. It's so annoying and I've read online for hours and can't get this damn screen to go away. I want to see the classic view of the pictures folders when I am saving or uploading a photo. It does it on my other user names so what gives?

I'd like to send a image but it won't let me take a screen shot.

If Im correct (and please say if im not), You got no idea what that screen means.

This is the new file explorer of windows 8. If you save something from the mail app it opens this. If you want to browse to the folders you know you just press " go up" until you found folders you know.

Im sorry if that does not help you at all but then I don't get your question.
Hope youre helped

Seems like you use the Metro File Explorer or something.

Go to the Desktop. That's the first step.

Look in Default Programs to see if the desktop version of File Explorer can be made default... not sure if we need or can do this since I never tried.

    That's basically it.
Whatever it is I hate it. In my other user names on the pc it's not there. How can I not see this file explorer and see classic view instead?

You can change your desktop colours in PC Settings under "Users/Start Screen"

But I don't know how you got it BLACK, maybe your OS is not Activated?

Press Windows Key+X and choose Admin Command Prompt, and run SLMGR.VBS /DLV

And tell me the status of your Activation.

(Actually now that I see it, the screen is not BLACK, but the standard Dark Brown Default Colour- You can change this in the same area I mentioned)
