I tried RestoreHealth but all i get is "Error 87"
Something to do with the online folder.
Are there any other alternatives to hard reset my laptop or maybe something i can download which will boot into repair?
BTW once again, I CANNOT login to windows 8 unless i go into safe mode but for some strange reason i always crash after a while even thought my laptop is top notch :/

The error on DISM might be caused by not putting spaces in the command, so make sure you have those correct. Which command are you running?

If you can boot into safe mode, then you can run msconfig.exe which will allow you to change some settings to see if you can get back into the Normal Windows. Such things as Base Video on the Boot Tab, or on the Services Tab, select Hide all Microsoft services and then disable all.

Task Manager should allow you access to Startup utilities you may want to keep from starting...

Is the current install 8 core? Trying to reset 8 core with 8 Pro may be an issue, or the issue.

Since you upgraded to Windows 8, how did you do that? If you still have an ESD folder on the machine, you might be able to put those files on a flash drive, and use it for the reset. They would probably be in a hidden folder and the tutorial may help.[2]=Installation%20and%20Setup

Also, you stated you upgraded and did not do a clean install, so it seems there should be a factory recovery option from Acer.

So my computer started blue screening on start-up. I tried using system restore while booting—both points I had were corrupted. I did chkdsk /r and I have to restart to start it. I restart, and the thing freezes on 20% for 2-3 hours, and my computer restarts. Not sure if it's a crash or something...
