First off, my apologies if this topic has already been covered. Did a quick search and didn't find anything
I recently purchased a laptop with Windows 8 after the sudden death of my desktop. I have been having problems burning an mp3 cd. It won't play in the cd player in my truck. I get "bad cd/disc error" messages. At first, I thought it may have been a bad cd-r. Five cd-rs later, I am having the same problem. Not the cd player in my truck, either. Plays an mp3 cd I burned in XP just fine
I used WMP and EZ CD Audio Converter to burn the cds both with the same result. I'm stumped. The only difference I can see between the mp3s burned in XP and W8 is the bitrate. Would that be the problem? And how do I change it if it is?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I miss my tunes when I am driving
thanks
