Solved Need help with desktop icons
My 1.5 year old son crawled up in our desk chair and was playing with the computer. He somehow changed the desktop icons to where the descriptive text is now all to the right of the icon. Any ideas on how to change it back to where the description is underneath the icon? I've been all over the internet but can't seem to find exactly how to do it for windows 8. Thanks!

Download Desktop List view from the link:
https://app.box.com/shared/myn8tvhyks
extract the file: Desktop_List_View_Win7_x64.exe to desktop
Open the command prompt on desktop then type:
Desktop_List_View_Win7_x64.exe disable
Note: this software is for Win 7 but it will work in Windows 8

It's telling me it's not recognized as an internal or external command. Did I do something wrong?
What you did wrong was: you did not open the command prompt and maneuver to the program location that you extracted.
For example: if the program was
extracted to your desktop then when you open the command prompt, you need to change to the desktop folder by typing:
cd C:\Users\USER \Desktop where USER is your user name
run the program
However, Option 1 from Shawn's tutorial also works.
