Multiple sessions of MS Paint?

    Multiple sessions of MS Paint?

When I hit Winkey, “Paint”, Enter – I just get popped over to an existing open session of MS Paint instead of opening another session.

How do I stop that? I need multiple sessions open.

When you have the first session running, Right-click on the Paint icon in the taskbar, and select Paint.

In addition, you could press and hold the Shift key, click on the Paint icon on the taskbar, and release the Shift key to open a separate instance of it.

So both options require the use of a taskbar. But I don't use a taskbar.

Wait – okay – so I can just hold Shift.

    Winkey, “paint”, Shift-Enter.

    Thank you!

(I'm coming from XP. You guys have probably been doing all this for a decade or whatever with newer versions of Windows. Sorry.)

Hm, it usually opens an new instance on my machines. Is there a setting, maybe a group policy setting to allow or Deny Multiple Instances?
