Problem with win 8

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and I am willing to participate here and help as much as I can. Few months ago I bought lenovo Z500 notebook. It had original windows 8 but in german language. I erase it and install other original windows I have from dreamspark. In meanwhile I didnt know I lost UEFI and now it is just regular boot.
Few days ago something weird appeared. I click on google chrome on my taskbar and I Got warning "no such interface supported". Day after I wanted to change theme. Right click on desktop then personalize again same message, no such interface suported. Propertis on my comptuer doesnt work too. Cant open it.
Does anyone knows what is the problem? How can it be fixed? I am thinking about reinstalling windows. Is that smart? But i would like to "turn on" UEFI then.

As the new MOBO's now have a uEFI/BIOS firmware.

One question. Are there windows 8 64bit that supports uefi and one that dont support? Or any win 8 supports uefi?
