    PDF Trouble

I just downloaded Adobe reader 11, and have been trying to open pdf files from the "My Documents" folder. Specifically files that I have just written and saved from MS Word. Adobe says: "There was an error opening this document. Access denied." However, if I save the file into the Downloads folder, it will open no problem. Any ideas?

Usually when it does that, it opens em anyway - Did you check? I get that exact message all the time, but the document opens in another window.

I was hopeful it might do that, it has on my old laptop. I created a new library and a new folder in C: and added it to my new library. I can open pdf files in that. I tried changing share settings and privacy settings but I did not see anything that would prevent files from being accessed.

    Thanks Lee, its true.

Am I asking for trouble? in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
I was getting random BSOD's from a driver called US40fs64.sys so I just renamed it to US40fs64.old and things are working OK so far. I can't find any listing of what that driver actually does. Could I hurt my system by renaming it this way? So far, it seems to have helped.
