    That would be the EFS certificate instead of key.

    Without the EFS certificate, you're pretty much out of luck.

    You could try the "Advanced EFS Data Recovery" program posted above to see if it may be able to recover the backup files.

Can't access folder on my own PC in Network & Sharing
I added an SSD and installed windows 8 on it. On my old HD now my E drive are all my documents music etc from before. I can access all folder with the exception of music. I get a message that I don't have permission to access this folder. How can I gain access to it?
Folder Access Denied in General Support
Trying to delete a folder I get "Folder Access Denied" -- need to provide administrator permission to delete this folder. I am the only account on this PC an am Administrator. I click continue and get the same message with "Try Again". Suggestions welcome. Thanks
