    Windows 8 desktop icons blurry.

Hi, I recently got a new computer that has windows 8, and I am having some issues with the icons. Some of them are perfectly fine but some of them are really blurry/fuzzy. This applies to the icons on the desktop, the icons on the toolbar, and even the icons in skype. I figure it has something to do with my NVIDIA graphic card, but beside from that I have no idea what to do.

Please respond when you can, it's kind of annoying.

Was it like this when you first got it? If so, return it. There should not be any problems with a new computer.

I'd rather not, I have a feeling that this is easily solved if you just know what to do.

You go to fooling around with it & you might do something to void the warranty.

What? I have a warranty, I just think that this is easily solved. I searched around a bit before I made this thread and there was another person with windows 7 who had the same problem, however, his solution doesn't work for windows 8. But this just goes to show that there are ways to fix it without having to send it on repair for a month.

Run your Cleartype Wizard, go into Control Panel and search for ClearType. Also make sure your Text is not set to "125%" - Set it to 100 percent.

Cleartype was already running, where do I check the text size though?

Yah I had the feeling that's what it was. Good, glad you got it dealt with. Just remember, the "125%" sets EVERYthing to that size, and you were actually seeing the Icons as they actually appear, some of them are very poor.
