Solved "Menu Bar" disappeared

I seem to have lost the "Menu Bar" at the top of pages. It has "File" etc and when you click on "File" you have several choices like "Exit"......

Look at the very very top there will be a double arrow that says "Customise Quick Access Toolbar" - UNCHECK the entry that says "Minimize the Ribbon" - Then it'll look normal.

    Recently lost my Windows 8 on my main PC, had to go back to Windows 7.
Are you talking about IE/Firefox. As you mention Exit, I imagine so. Windows explorer or office have "close"

If IE or Firefox, right click in the white space at the top and you can select the menu bar.

Now that you can access the menu, you should be able to select "Menu Bar" from the "Toolbars" option in the "View" menu (View > Toolbars > Menu Bar).

Just tried that and it does not give me that option. It show "Lock the Toolbars". I am having this concern on the Control Panel page. I have no problem on web pages.

Folder Options

It's hard to guess the answer, since you didn't say what program you were using. :)

Try looking in the "View" tab in "Folder Options".
There used to be an "Always show menus" option.

I am using Ver 8. Folder Options is found in Control Panel and it shows the screen you showed and Always Show Menus is one of the choices and it has fixed my "concern".
