Uefi guide

Is there anywhere where I can find a guide on how to work with my uefi laptop? It's just foreign to me. I have no clue how to reinstall windows if I put a bare drive in my laptop, or exactly how to optimize my computer for it. I understand what it is and the advantages to it. If there isn't a guide maybe y'all could post some links with useful stuff about uefi and then I could make a guide for anybody that's new to it.

Thanks

Thanks, but I don't have a cd drive to make a repair disk. I'm looking to make a dedicated bootable usb flash drive. I'll be sure to include that if I make a guide though for those users that have a cd drive.

I forgot about that, no CD drive, There is a Program "ISo2disk" that can put a CD onto a hard drive and it will boot. Let me find the link.

Here it is:

ISO2Disc Free Download

It's on Softpedia, so the real download link is the one above the link to "add to basket"

Thanks I looked into that. I made a windows 8 core dedicated usb recovery drive and I am also making the HP usb recovery. My only problems are: People tend to lose stuff, and things fail. It's kind of dumb that I can only make one recovery media, but oh well. I would like to have two or three.

It actually won't work. I had it running for over an hour and it wouldn't work. I don't know what the problem is.
