Hi JeffL,
I'm a bit confused about the your issue. From what I can gather, it looks like your system restore was run on 7/23 (per second view), you then confirm it was last run on 7/30 (per your use of the word yesterday). That would be the 7th day; yes? If correct, I'm not sure how today (7/31) enters into the big picture?
Your image shows that a restore point was created on the 30th so I'm still not getting it, Anyway, no need to respond so just hang in there and maybe someone else will clearly understand your issue and respond accordingly. Good luck.
Hi Jeff,
System Restore points are created under the automatic maintenance umbrella (note the absence of the task trigger). The point will be created during the next maintenance period, so there's nothing to worry about.
Mmmm... I thought I've explained this already in the posts above. Let me try to put it differently, but refer to the links in post 6 for details.Vadikan,
I'll mark this as solved, my only question is, why didn't the SR scheduled task run yesterday? Isn't it suppose to run every day? That was my primary question. I learned about the 7 day rule a couple of months ago. If the task had run yesterday, I think the restore point would have been created yesterday.
