    so annoying

im sick of this issue it happens for too long i can't open photos of any kind with the windows photo viewer, i dont know how it happened and i dont remember when. when I try to open nothing happens.. its like something happens for a fraction of a second and nothing. I tried almost everything, well, accept for restore but there is no chance im doing it the cost is too big.
I just noticed that when i try to view a photo file, two processes pop for a fraction of a sec and immediatly disapear, one is COM Surrogate and the other Windows Problem Reporting.

Try an Admin Command Prompt, type "SFC /scannow"

Try this procedure to reset your file associations to default. Hopefully this will fix your issue. Good luck.

    No log needed.

    Try running --- Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    in administrator command prompt.

    Reboot.

    Run sfc again.

The unfixable issues will be fixed. (99.999 % chance)
