The wildcard--- * --- Will or should block anything from channel157.com.

    Code:
    http://*.channel157.com
    It's worth a try.

I studied the situation & found it only blocks the site if you are using IE 10.

That's like putting a band aid on a severed limb - It's not the root cause of the problem, which is some kind of virus or rootkit. You need to scan your system extensively with TDSSKILLER and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and GMER, one of those will find the culprit.

This is a personal opinion.... but anything from iobit is garbage. Get rid of it and anything else from iobit.

IObit is probably what put it in! It's not Adobe Updates that are false, it's that popup for a FLASH update. That popup is always connected to websites where people upload files for other people to grab, like Sendspace and BillionUploads.com. Actually, those storage sites are popular for people who share IPA files for iOS devices. And, they change all the time. It used to be all done through Fileape, when Fileape was shut down, new sites came up, Maybe there is one site you use commonly to download files, whatever it is, is sending you these fake flash updates. You can always tell a true Flash update will show up on your Taskbar, it will never pop up as a web page. You will get a rectangular shaped upgrade box, it will be red, and it will ask you if you want to download and install the Flash update. But you will SEE it also down in your tray. That's how you know it is legit. I'll try to get mine to pop up so I can make a screen cap. Also, if you are not SURE - Go the the actual Adobe website for Flash and you can actually TEST your flash right on that site, if you need an update, it will tell you.

Don't trust any IObit programs, always use TDSSKILLER and Malwarebytes Anti Rootkit, those are the two best programs to find rootkits. And try Eset Anti Virus 6, it's a 7 day trial, that should be enough to eliminate anything else you have.
