Can I clean out old stuff from this bcdedit data?

First let me give you some background information. My SSD had 3 partitions in this order; System Reserved, Win7 and Win8. I deleted the Win7 partition and used “msconfig” to remove Win7 from the Boot tab, without selecting the “make options permanent” option.(I thought I read somewhere to be careful if selecting this) I then used AOMEI Partition Assistant Pro 5.2 to move Win8 to the Unallocated space before Win8, where Win7 used to be.

Now every time I boot the laptop, before the Win8 user sign in screen, it now says “Loading System...” in the upper left corner of the screen. Why does it now say “Loading System...”? Can I clean out old Boot entries? I included the data from bcdedit /enum all.

Thanks in advance,
Don

Did I post this in the wrong thread? I know there is old Windows 7 stuff that I can clean out.

Then go for it - bcdedit can be used, although I would wager there are other 3rd party tools for editing the BCD as well. Assuming the entry really is obsolete, it can be removed. Just don't remove the entries required to boot the current installation and you should be good to go :).

I don't know how to remove old Win7 entries or even which ones are obsolete, that's why I posted all the data here. If someone can show me how or tell me which to remove, I would be grateful. I remember a mod from sevenforums, helping me remove old stuff using bcdedit but I'm open to suggestions or to using EasyBCD. Thanks.
