Ok I see what you mean, there are a few necessary things that you can't do., like change the order of songs. But you can get around that by numbering the songs in the file names or titles. Or,m you can change the position of the songs using "Edit Tag Properties" - Before you send the list over, set the tags so that the songs are properly ordered. Or, you can send them over one by one.

I don't know if I like what this program does - It is refusing to read the Tags I have already SET, and I've already set the order of songs when I made the MP3s. But when I drag the lot over, it always sends them in the wrong order. It shows them alphabetically, not numerically. I just went through the whole program and there are no settings for the Library to tell it to show in Numeric order.

I have a maybe 50,000 songs in there, all arranged by original track number. iTunes can read these values, and so can VLC, but this program flagrantly ignores the tags I meticulously set. I suppose I would have to rip CDs using THIS program to get this program to show the songs in the proper order.

Maybe they will make an update for it that's wholly compatible with 8. I set the compatibility mode all the way down to Windows 95.

Hey have you seen this program? Looks like it's 8 compatible...

Acoustica MP3 Audio Mixer - Mix music, sound effects, and even your own voice!

I suppose they will upgrade the CD maker program soon for 8, I'll keep it bookmarked. I do like a few of the things in it.
