How to organize Favourites Bar on Start screen?

How is it possible to organize the Favourites tiles in an alphabetical order & how can you rename them?

Just drag & drop in order.

One by one...

You could use Obly Tile to create new tiles & delete the old tiles.
Very tedious process.

Silly me! You're in IE Metro favorites.

I think Desktop IE and Metro IE uses the same folders. Just for grins try alphabetizing Favorites in desktop IE to see if it does it for Metro IE. Right click on any favorite or folder and select "Sort by name".


Just to let you know, in 8.1 what is able to open up Favorite folders in Metro IE. An added feature.

Edit: I just checked my method and it works. Whatever one does in desktop IE favorites it will mimic in Modern/Metro IE.

You can't drag & drop the Favourites tiles. If you right click you can only 'Open in a new tab' or 'Remove'.
Yes, if you select a favourite website in the Desktop & even if you rename them, it will open on Start screen 'Favourites' bar. The trouble is it goes right to the end of the line, & is not listed alphabetically or even listed as it was renamed. It makes it very difficult to find a specific tile when you want it to open on the Start screen.
